Innoflight is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer III to develop software for satellite avionics and payload data processing systems. You will create real-time monitoring, power management software, and Linux board support for flight applications, collaborating with hardware and FPGA teams to deliver rugged Low-SWaP systems.

Active U.S. Security Clearance is required and the role involves cross-functional collaboration, end-to-end development, and secure communications expertise.

Formación

• 5+ years of embedded software development in C/C++ for Linux/RTOS systems.
• Experience configuring bootloaders (U-Boot/GRUB) and customizing Linux kernels for flight applications.
• Strong knowledge of embedded platforms, multi-core processors, and interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, PCIe).
• Proficiency in networking protocols (IP, TLS, IPsec) and cryptographic systems (AES, RSA, ECDSA).
• Active U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop embedded C/C++ software for multi-core and FPGA-integrated systems (ARM Cortex, RISC-V).
• Configure Linux platforms and kernel/bootloader modifications for flight applications.
• Implement secure communications and cryptographic functionality with various buses/protocols.
• Translate requirements into robust software across design, implementation, integration, and testing.
• Collaborate with hardware/FPGA teams and present progress to stakeholders.
• Manage development lifecycle with version control and release processes.
