Job summary
Lockheed Martin Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer entry-level candidate to support the MFC site in a full-time capacity. You will develop C/C++ software for mission-critical systems across multiple programs and touch diverse domains such as command and control and health care.
The ideal candidate is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science, is a US citizen, and can obtain a DoD clearance.
Qualifications
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related software discipline.
- Demonstrated software development experience in C++.
- Experience with operating systems concepts (Linux/Windows/Unix, etc.).
- Ability to obtain DoD Clearance.
- Must be a US Citizen.

- Develop Software
- Integrate features/algorithms into C/C++ applications
- Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
- Design, develop, document, test, and debug software for business/mission problems
- Apply knowledge of hardware/software and user needs to develop software
- Correct program errors and prepare operating instructions and documentation
