Job summary

Envision Technology, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to support the Fort Bragg, North Carolina facility. You will develop, implement, debug, and test software for unmanned systems and related platforms used in defense applications, collaborating with a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires a BS/MS in CS or EE with 5+ years coding embedded software, strong C/C++ skills, and experience with RTOS and hardware interfaces.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent with 5+ years of embedded software experience.
• Strong C/C++ development skills for embedded systems.
• Experience with RTOS and interfacing with hardware peripherals (EEPROM, FPGA, ASIC) is a plus.
• Exposure to semi-autonomous and autonomous systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative product designs from concept to production.
• Collaborate in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment across mechanical, electrical, and software teams.
• Develop and maintain software for flight and ground control platforms.
• Assist in selecting microprocessors and supporting devices.
• Work with electrical engineering to debug complex designs.
• Develop test infrastructure and documentation; ensure high performance.
