Job summary

Northrop Grumman in the United States is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer focused on System Security Engineering (SSE) software, cybersecurity, and software assurance. The role covers security software development, integration and test, DevSecOps, and related secure coding practices within an agile team.

You will work on embedded real-time systems for flight and mission-critical applications, participate in reviews, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver secure, high-assurance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years related experience, or Master’s in STEM with 0 years.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Active Secret Clearance required to start and maintain.
Experience with C/C++ and Python; Agile software development.

Responsibilities

Software developer/integrator for SSE, cybersecurity and secure coding practices.
Conduct system vulnerability scanning, remediation and patch management.
Develop and execute unit tests and build verification test plans.
Participate in software reviews and end-to-end requirements traceability.
Work in an Agile SW development environment with embedded hardware.
