Job summary
MaXentric Technologies LLC is seeking an embedded software engineer to support software development for our custom processor architecture. You will work with the hardware team to design and optimize software that fully leverages our processor, with R&D involvement in security, SDR, and networked systems.
You will develop efficient algorithms for highly constrained environments while contributing to production readiness and full-stack work when needed. California-based role requires U.S.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with software design, development, and debugging.
- Ability to design systems and clearly document and communicate technical concepts.
- Self-driven problem solver who thrives in both independent and team settings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize software for MaXentric’s custom processor.
- Perform low-level programming and system design with a strong emphasis on performance tuning.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to understand architectural features and constraints.
- Contribute to late-stage research projects transitioning to production.
- Engage in full-stack development when needed, from embedded systems to application-level software.
