MaximaTek is seeking an entry-level Firmware Engineer – Embedded Systems to join our engineering team in the United States. This role targets fresh graduates and early-career professionals with a background in electrical or computer engineering, CS, or related fields.

You will develop firmware for embedded devices, work with microcontrollers, and contribute to integration, testing, and troubleshooting. A strong foundation in programming and willingness to learn new technologies are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or related field.
0–3 years of experience in software, firmware, embedded systems, or related area.
Strong programming fundamentals and knowledge of C or C++.
Understanding of embedded systems concepts.
Analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to learn.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain firmware for embedded systems and electronic devices.
Write and debug software using C/C++.
Work with microcontrollers and embedded hardware platforms.
Assist with firmware development, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
Analyze technical issues and support root‑cause identification.
Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate embedded solutions.
Participate in unit testing, debugging, and system‑level testing.
Work with communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
Review technical requirements and contribute to design and implementation activities.
Document software functionality, testing results, and technical changes.
