Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in Allen Park, MI. You will develop and validate low‑level software for embedded systems using Embedded C and MATLAB/Simulink, including unit and HIL testing.

The role requires translating requirements into designs, building models, and ensuring robust CAN/LIN communication and diagnostics support, with a hybrid work arrangement of four on‑site days per week.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on embedded software development experience.
• Strong Embedded C experience.
• MATLAB/Simulink development, modeling, or algorithm implementation.
• Unit and integration testing experience.
• Low-level debugging experience.
• Ability to translate requirements into software designs.
• Experience with an additional programming language is a plus.
• 6+ years of IT experience aligned with Engineer 3 level.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, integrate, and maintain embedded software using Embedded C.
• Develop MATLAB/Simulink models and supporting code.
• Translate requirements into embedded designs and algorithms.
• Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing.
• Develop and execute HIL test scenarios and analyze results.
• Debug low-level software and investigate issues.
• Work with CAN/LIN communications and diagnostics.
• Support requirements management, traceability, and verification activities.
• Collaborate with hardware, controls, software, and test teams.
