Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in Dearborn, Michigan. You will design, develop, and validate low-level embedded software, with strong emphasis on Embedded C, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

You will work across software, hardware, controls, and test teams to deliver reliable embedded solutions. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of hands-on embedded experience, proficiency in CAN/LIN, and a background translating requirements into

Qualifications

4+ years of hands-on embedded software development.
Strong hands-on experience with Embedded C.
Hands-on experience with MATLAB/Simulink development, modeling, or algorithm implementation.
Experience performing unit and integration testing of embedded software.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, debug, and maintain embedded software using Embedded C for hardware-connected systems.
Develop and maintain MATLAB/Simulink models and algorithms based on system requirements.
Translate requirements into embedded designs and implement algorithms.
Perform unit, integration, and system-level testing, including HIL scenarios.
Collaborate with hardware, systems, controls, and test teams to ensure robust integration.
