Job summary

Workcog Inc. in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop C-based software for unit testing using Embedded coder/Target link. The role emphasizes MIL/SIL testing, ASPICE-driven requirement traceability with JAMA, and collaboration via Git and Jira.

Automotive experience and BMS background are preferred. Strong embedded C skills and familiarity with the V-Model and CAPL scripting with HIL testing are highly valued, along with diagnostics knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must have BE/BTECH/ME/MTech or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s Engineering Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering; non-engineering backgrounds not eligible.
• Experience with Embedded C development and unit testing.
• Knowledge of ASPICE processes and requirement traceability with JAMA.

Responsibilities

• Perform code generation using Embedded coder/Target link.
• MIL/SIL testing and familiarity with Tessy is a plus.
• Establish requirement analysis and traceability per ASPICE with JAMA.
• Familiar with git and Jira for version control and issue tracking.
• Develop C based software for unit testing of application software functions and components.
• Support creation and review of Software Requirements Specifications.
• Preferred automotive experience and BMS background.
• Embedded C coding/debugging is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with Software V-Model; good to know AUTOSAR.
• Familiar with ASPICE process.
• Knowledge of CAPL scripting and HIL testing.
• Knowledge of diagnostics.
