The Home Depot is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and support embedded software powering autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) used in warehouse and industrial environments. You will work on robot control, sensing, communications, diagnostics, and hardware integration as part of a cross-functional robotics team.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in C/C++, embedded Linux, and real-time systems, with experience debugging hardware/software interactions and collaborating

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and support embedded software for AMRs operating in warehouse and industrial environments.
• Collaborate with Robotics, Controls, Electrical, Mechanical, Platform Software, QA, and Product teams to deliver production-ready robotic systems.
• Develop software for robot motion control, sensing, communications, diagnostics, and hardware integration.
• Develop drivers and interfaces for sensors, actuators, and custom hardware.
• Troubleshoot issues observed during field deployments and operational testing.
