Job summary

Quantum-Systems Inc, a global leader in aerial intelligence and autonomous, AI-powered aerial robotics, has an opening for a Software Engineer. This in-office role reports to the Director of Mission Success and involves delivering cutting-edge software for government UAS platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, lead milestones in a high tempo environment, and develop architectures for embedded systems, edge data fusion, and vision AI while adhering to company core principles and

Qualifications

BS or PhD in STEM with 3+ years of embedded software experience.
3+ years of Embedded Linux design experience.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Experience in Video and Data Communications over Ethernet.
Experience in embedded C++, C#.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Background Check/U.S. Citizenship due to government contract.

Responsibilities

Collaborate as part of the Quantum-Systems engineering team.
Lead project milestones in a high tempo work environment.
Minimal supervision to implement high level software architectures.
Resolve complex problems during troubleshooting using industry best practices.
Integrate unmanned system technologies such as edge computed data fusion, vision AI, teaming and payload coordination.
Lead technical software integration efforts.
Decompose the scope of an assigned project, develop corresponding software architectures and software design.
Develop and execute Software Integration and Test Plans.
Lead subsystem and low-level technical reviews.
Position requires travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs.
Embody, promote, and live the Quantum Systems core principles.
