Job summary
PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer 3 in Chandler, AZ to develop software for Launch Systems programs. The engineer will perform requirements development, architecture design, coding, unit testing, and integration for real-time embedded software on diverse hardware.
This on-site role requires proximity to Chandler and DoD programs. Qualifications include a BS in CS/Engineering, OO C/C++ on Linux, RTOS experience (VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto), and a DoD Secret
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Systems, or related degree.
- OO software development in C/C++ on Linux.
- Embedded real-time software development, debugging and testing.
- Experience with RTOS environments (VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto).
- Full software development lifecycle experience; strong communication.
- U.S. citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance investigated within 5 years.
Responsibilities
- Supports requirements development, architecture development, detailed design, code & unit test, and integration & test of real time embedded software.
- Ensures software standards are met.
- Work in a collaborative multi-discipline team environment.
