Actalent is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for its Trustworthy Systems Initiative in RTP, North Carolina. The role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and supporting secure software and hardware solutions within the Trustworthy Systems Engineering team.

You will work on embedded firmware, cryptography, and secure development practices, collaborating with colleagues to deliver robust software and validate features across products. The position is hybrid with East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development and verification experience.
• Experience with embedded or application software development.
• Knowledge of product security and secure development practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and support features and solutions within the Security and Trust Organization (S&TO).
• Develop, support, and consult within the Software Signing initiatives.
• Participate in development, integration, and deployment of reusable software and hardware solutions.
• Implement and test embedded or application software.
• Develop and validate firmware.
• Conduct debugging and testing of software and systems.
• Ensure product security and trustworthiness.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and test code.
