Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks an Associate Software Engineer to conduct white and black box testing of devices and software, identifying security flaws and recommending mitigations. The role involves design, implementation, and testing of firmware and software systems, plus mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Typically 2+ years experience in one or more areas.
Object Oriented and/or Embedded Programming (C, C++, C#, Python).
Network Communications (IS and/or ICs Protocols).
Digital Forensics- Reverse Engineering.

Responsibilities

Conduct white and black box testing of devices and software for security flaws and vulnerabilities.
Identify areas of concern and recommendations for improved cybersecurity stance.
Participate in design, implementation, and test of firmware/software systems.
Prepare and maintain designs and test documentation.
Mentor Associate Engineers and Technicians.
