Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dynamic Embedded Project Lead to serve as a trusted liaison between U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), 8th Theater Sustainment Command (8th TSC) and the Amentum Hawai’i PMO, providing direct project leadership, requirements management, operational coordination, and mission support of SOCPAC at Camp Smith HI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 10+ years of Army and Theater-level logistics experience.
• 5+ years in project management, logistics, or DoD contracting.
• Experience interfacing with DoD or government organizations.
• Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to USARPAC and 8th TSC.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of operational priorities.
• Translate customer requirements into executable project objectives and tasks.
• Lead projects from requirements through execution, delivery, assessment, closeout.
• Coordinate capabilities across logistics, supply, distribution, warehousing, transportation, engineering, readiness, training, and mission support.
• Track project performance, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, resources.
• Facilitate customer working groups, planning sessions, exercises, assessments, demonstrations, and events.
• Develop executive briefings, CONOPS, SOPs, TTPs, assessments, reports, information papers.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, constraints, vulnerabilities, and opportunities.
• Support distributed and contested logistics initiatives to increase resilience and reach.
• Support modernization, experimentation, advanced logistics concepts, and integration of emerging technologies.
• Provide PMO leadership visibility into customer priorities and future opportunities.
