Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Embedded Project Lead to act as a trusted liaison among U.S. Pacific Fleet, U.S. Pacific Air Forces, and the PMO, supporting SOCPAC at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

You will lead cross-functional teams, translate customer requirements into actionable objectives, and manage projects from inception through closeout in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with possible travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, military operations, logistics, sustainment, or government contracting.
• Experience working on a joint staff or in a joint environment.
• Active Top-Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (US citizenship required).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to PACFLT and PACAF in support of SOCPAC.
• Develop understanding of Navy and Air Force priorities and readiness.
• Translate customer requirements into executable project objectives and tasks.
• Lead projects from requirements through execution and closeout.
• Coordinate across logistics, supply, distribution, warehousing, and transport.
• Track performance, milestones, risks, and resources.
• Facilitate customer working groups, planning sessions, and briefings.
• Develop CONOPS, SOPs, TTPs, and related reports.
• Analyze data to identify gaps and opportunities in operations.
• Support modernization and integration of new technologies.
