Job summary

Amentum seeks an Embedded Project Lead to serve as liaison between PACFLT, PACAF, and the PMO, driving project leadership, requirements management, and operational coordination in support of SOCPAC at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

The role requires a Top-Secret clearance, 5+ years in PM/logistics, and experience in a joint or DoD setting, with travel as needed. Compensation ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 annually with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Operations, Project Management, Military Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, military operations, logistics, sustainment, operations, or government contracting.
• Experience working on a joint staff or in a joint environment; prior PACFLT/PACAF/Navy/Air Force experience.
• Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (US Citizenship required).
• CONUS/OCONUS travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison to PACFLT and PACAF in support of SOCPAC.
• Develop and maintain understanding of Navy/Air Force priorities (operational, logistics, mobility, readiness).
• Translate customer requirements into executable project objectives, tasks, and activities.
• Lead projects from requirements through execution, delivery, assessment, and closeout.
• Coordinate capabilities across logistics, supply, distribution, warehousing, transportation, engineering, readiness, training, and mission support.
• Track performance, schedules, milestones, deliverables, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
• Facilitate customer working groups, planning sessions, exercises, assessments, demonstrations, and events.
• Develop executive briefings, CONOPS, SOPs, TTPs, assessments, and information papers.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, constraints, vulnerabilities, and opportunities.
• Support distributed and contested logistics initiatives to increase resilience and reach.
• Support modernization, experimentation, and integration of emerging technologies.
• Provide PMO leadership with visibility into priorities and risks.
