Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists seeks an experienced Embedded Linux/Networking Engineer to design, implement, and support onboard connectivity solutions for passenger networks. You will work across middleware, network authentication, and data traffic management to ensure reliable Internet access and premium services onboard.

Qualifications

• Experience with Embedded Linux, middleware, and networking fundamentals.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, DHCP, DNS.
• Experience with WLAN/Wi‑Fi technologies and network authentication.
• Ability to manage data bandwidth and connectivity in a high-availability environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage onboard Wi-Fi and network infrastructure.
• Validate passenger authentication and access control.
• Ensure internet access, bandwidth allocation, and connectivity for passengers.
• Support services such as web browsing, messaging, OTA updates, and streaming.
• Develop and maintain middleware between applications and network.
• Manage network applications, authentication services, and data traffic.
• Work with VLAN, WLAN, IP-based networking and protocols.
• Develop and support Embedded Linux-based solutions.
• Ensure reliable connectivity between onboard systems and external services.
