Job summary

GCS Recruitment Specialists is seeking an embedded networking engineer to design and maintain onboard Wi‑Fi and network infrastructure for our aviation client in Redmond, WA.

You will work on the middleware layer, handle authentication and bandwidth management, and ensure reliable connectivity between aircraft systems and external services.

Qualifications

• Experience with Embedded Linux platforms and middleware development.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including IP, TCP/UDP, DHCP and DNS.
• Familiarity with WLAN/Wi‑Fi technologies and network authentication methods.
• Knowledge of VLANs, IP-based networking and standard network protocols.
• Experience optimizing data traffic and bandwidth management in constrained networks.
• Ability to develop and support software on embedded systems.
