We are hiring an Embedded Linux Field Engineer for Devices/IoT to expand our reach in industries like Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco, as well as Consumer Electronics. We seek candidates who are Linux experts, familiar with OS internals, containerization, system debugging, and related skills. This role involves working with Ubuntu and Ubuntu Core in connected devices and industrial PCs, emphasizing security, resilience, and certifications for high-end appliances and equipment.
This role requires proficiency in Linux and coding/scripting (Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust), experience with low-level Linux boot, BIOS, firmware, and embedded software development. Candidates should be adaptable, team-oriented, and committed to customer satisfaction. The role involves engaging with customers during presales, proposing solutions, delivering projects, and conveying market requirements internally.
Additional experience with customer engagement is a plus but not mandatory.
