Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Electrical or Computer Engineering candidate to join our Microelectronics Technology Directorate within the ART organization. You will develop and optimize BSP solutions, bootloader, kernel tailoring, and device drivers for custom hardware.

You will collaborate with software, systems, hardware, and FPGA teams on embedded Linux solutions for aerospace and defense applications.

Competenze

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
• Experience as a command line user of Linux.
• Experience with embedded C/C++.
• Experience with scripting languages Bash and Python.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and enhance Linux OS ecosystem including kernel, bootloader, and BSP for multiple hardware boards.
• Contribute to embedded Linux software development, including device drivers and system integration.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex hardware–software issues.
• Prepare software builds for simulation, reference platforms, and target hardware.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, systems, hardware, and FPGA groups.
