Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Electrical or Computer Engineering candidate to join the Microelectronics Technology Directorate within the ART organization. You will develop and optimize BSP solutions and embedded Linux components for mission systems hardware.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across software, systems, hardware and FPGA design, advancing next‑generation aerospace and defense technologies.

Competenze

• Degree in STEM field required with <2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
• Experience with Linux command line interface and embedded C/C++.

Mansioni

• Design, develop and enhance our customized Linux OS ecosystem including build toolchain, kernel, rootfs, bootloader, drivers and BSP for various hardware boards.
• Contribute to design, coding, testing, delivery and support for embedded Linux software systems.
• Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of complex hardware-software issues.
• Prepare software builds for simulation, reference platforms and target hardware using Collins processes and tools.
