Job summary

I2Intech LLC is seeking a firmware engineer to develop bare-metal, RTOS and Linux firmware and device drivers in C/C++. You will bring up boards/SoCs, implement bootloaders and BSPs, and work with hardware and validation teams.

The role focuses on low-level software, register-level drivers, test harnesses, and debugging hardware/software interactions using JTAG and trace tools; collaboration and documentation are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer/Electrical Engineering.
• Strong C programming and understanding of computer architecture.
• Experience with ARM or RISC-V based SoCs and their boot flows.
• Experience with at least one RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) or embedded Linux.
• Familiarity with I2C, SPI, UART, USB, PCIe and memory controllers.
• Python scripting for automation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop bare-metal, RTOS and Linux firmware and device drivers in C/C++.
• Bring up new boards and SoCs; implement bootloaders and BSPs.
• Write register-level drivers for peripherals and high-speed interfaces.
• Build test harnesses and automation to validate firmware on hardware.
• Debug hardware/software interaction issues using JTAG and trace tools.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.
