Job summary

LeoForce in Houston, TX is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer to work on RTOS and bare-metal platforms, building robust industrial control software.

Required: BS in Electrical Engineering and 5+ years in embedded systems; strong C/C++ skills and hardware/software integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year institution.
• 5+ years of embedded systems background (required).
• Proven experience in full-cycle product development.
• Hands-on experience with hardware/software integration, system-level testing, performance tuning, and embedded debugging tools.
• Strong programming proficiency in C or C-based languages.
• Working knowledge of IDE toolchains including compiler, linker, assembler, and loader.
• Experience with serial communication protocols such as RS-485, CAN bus, SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Ability to read and interpret microprocessor/component datasheets and manufacturer application notes.
