Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop embedded firmware for its intelligent energy management platform. This is a hands-on role covering base firmware, application firmware, hardware integration, and IoT connectivity.

You'll work with hardware, firmware, and QA to deliver firmware for microcontroller-based products using Microchip and STMicro platforms, with Agile development and opportunities across new and sustaining products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years embedded firmware development.
• 3+ years IoT systems development and debugging.
• Strong C/C++ and Python experience.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M, STM32, Microchip MCUs.
• Experience with Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, UART, or RS-485.
• Experience with an RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr.
• Experience developing and maintaining embedded Linux systems using Buildroot.
• Strong debugging experience with JTAG, SWD, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile development environments.

Senior Software Engineer

A rapidly growing, private equity-backed technology company,is looking for a full-time Senior Software Engineer to develop embedded firmware for its intelligent energy management platform. Theirtechnology connects and optimizes building systems to deliver energy, operational, and resiliency benefits for customers ranging from Fortune 500 companies and utilities to small businesses.

This is a hands-on embedded engineering role where you'll work across base firmware, application firmware, hardware integration, and IoT connectivity. You'll collaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and QA engineers to architect, develop, test, and deliver firmware for microcontroller-based products using platforms such as Microchip and STMicro. The role covers both new product development and sustaining existing products.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development
• 3+ years of hands-on IoT systems development and debugging
