Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer (T02) to join the Embedded Solutions team. The role covers design, development, and integration of secure embedded systems for defense/aerospace applications, focusing on C and Python on ARM Cortex MCUs.

The position emphasizes hardware bring-up, real-time software, and collaboration within a matrixed, Agile environment, with strong emphasis on safety, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related STEM field.
• 2–5 years of embedded firmware or software experience on microcontroller/ARM Cortex systems.
• Proficiency in C (and/or C++) for real-time embedded development; familiarity with version control tools.
• Experience with lab-based troubleshooting, board bring-up, and hardware/software integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and validate embedded firmware/software using C (and Python) for ARM Cortex MCUs.
• Develop and integrate peripheral interfaces and drivers (serial, Ethernet, SPI, I2C).
• Support hardware bring-up and board-lvl verification with oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
• Integrate RTOS or bare-metal real-time applications ensuring reliability in constrained environments.
• Contribute to system-level validation and maintain clear technical documentation; participate in Agile teams.
