Ghost Robotics in Philadelphia, PA seeks an Embedded Systems Engineer focused on firmware development for Q-UGV platforms. You will own low-level firmware for sensing, motor control, battery management and high-speed communication, under mentorship while growing independent ownership.

The role requires 1–2 years in embedded firmware, strong C/C++, familiarity with STM32 or similar MCUs, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust robotic subsystems with RTOS support.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of professional embedded firmware development experience.
• Proficiency in C or C++ for firmware.
• Familiarity with STM32 MCU family or similar MCUs.
• Experience debugging embedded systems in a structured manner.
• Strong revision control experience (Git or similar).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain firmware for embedded robotic subsystems (sensing, motor control, power management, RTOS systems).
• Implement and optimize communication interfaces (Ethernet, EtherCAT, SPI, I2C, QSPI).
• Integrate sensors into firmware and support real-time performance with RTOS features.
• Collaborate with electronics and cross-functional teams; participate in design reviews and documentation.
• Assist with board bring-up and hardware/software integration from the firmware side.
