Job summary

Ghost Robotics, located in Philadelphia, is seeking a Senior Engineer, Electronics to lead the electrical design for critical subsystems on the Q-UGV platform. This role requires at least 7 years of experience in PCB design and assembly, with strong skills in power electronics and high-speed digital layout. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and proficiency in Altium Designer. Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands‑on PCB schematic and layout design experience.
• Demonstrated ownership of prototype PCB assembly and debugging.
• Strong high speed digital layout experience for interfaces like Ethernet and USB.
• Proven experience designing power electronics for battery powered systems.
• Disciplined revision control practices and rigorous hardware documentation habits.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical design of critical subsystems on the Q-UGV platform.
• Integrate diverse payload sensors onto the platform.
• Drive PCB schematic capture and layout from prototype to volume production.
• Design and review power architectures for battery powered systems.
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior electronics engineers.
• Debug hardware systematically at the bench and in the field.
