Job summary

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a firmware engineer to grow embedded skills on hardware deployed to the field. You will write real-time microcontroller code, build drivers for sensors, and debug cross-disciplinary issues between schematics and software.

You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with electrical engineers, read schematics and datasheets, and see your code running on deployed systems within months of writing it.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• 1+ years firmware or embedded software experience
• Solid C coding ability for embedded systems
• Experience in bare-metal or RTOS environments
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART, or similar
• Willingness to learn and figure things out
• U.S. Person due to access restrictions

Responsibilities

• Write firmware in C for microcontrollers across Connected Warfare platforms
• Develop and integrate reusable device drivers for sensors, peripherals, and interfaces
• Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries
• Support board bring-up with Electrical Engineering
• Contribute to firmware architecture decisions
• Ship code to production deployed in the field
