Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Firmware Engineer to craft low-level embedded software in C for defense platforms. You’ll write tests, debug across electrical and software domains, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring boards from bring-up to production.

You’ll grow skills on real defense platforms, with strong emphasis on requirements tracing and test automation. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
• 2+ years firmware/embedded software experience.
• Solid C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Experience with bus protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN).
• Familiarity with board bring-up and debugging tools.
• Experience writing/executing tests for embedded firmware.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• U.S. Person due to export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level firmware in C for microcontrollers across platforms.
• Write and execute test procedures to verify firmware against requirements.
• Debug issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
• Support board bring-up and hardware-firmware integration with teams.
• Maintain requirements traceability with corresponding tests.
• Contribute to multiple projects from prototype to production.
