Job summary

Anduril Industries is building the foundational embedded software for the Connected Warfare team. As a firmware engineer, you will bring new hardware to life by writing real-time microcontroller code and developing drivers for sensors and peripherals, collaborating with Electrical Engineering across the stack.

You will work on end-to-end firmware for systems like Menace-I, handling board bring-up, driver development, and system-level integration with field testing in mind.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent industry experience.
• Strong C coding ability for embedded systems.
• Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
• Experience developing firmware in bare-metal or RTOS environments.
• Solid understanding and application of coding best practices, board bring up and debugging.
• Familiarity with common bus protocols (Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232/RS485).
• U.S. Persons status is required to access export controlled data.

Responsibilities

• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and create reusable device drivers.
• Integrate system-level features and architect changes for an growing codebase.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues across electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
