Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology leader in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Senior Firmware Engineer to develop low-level software for embedded systems powering Tactical Recon & Strike products. You will craft firmware for microcontrollers, integrate sensors, and drive features from concept to field deployment.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in embedded firmware, strong C skills, RTOS/bare-metal experience, and a track record of technical leadership and product ownership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years embedded software/firmware experience.
• MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.
• Proven technical leadership and product ownership.
• Experience integrating microcontrollers with sensors in bare-metal or RTOS.
• Outstanding C coding ability and standards familiarity.
• Knowledge of software/hardware debugging and board bringup.
• IC bus protocols: I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, RS232/RS485, Ethernet.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Eligible to obtain/maintain US Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust firmware for microcontrollers and device drivers.
• Drive program-level ownership to maximize customer impact.
• Mentor junior engineers and raise team capability.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Software and Product Design teams.
• Identify improvements and implement solutions.
• Coordinate hardware bringup and cross-domain troubleshooting.
• Coordinate firmware support for Test Engineering.
• Support field testing to quantify value and opportunities.
