Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years embedded software/firmware experience after graduation.
• Experience using electronic test instruments to troubleshoot hardware.
• Location: Pittsburgh area, primarily on-site with potential for some hybrid flexibility.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement new firmware modules in C++ from system requirements.
• Develop, simulate, and debug VHDL for FPGA to ensure tight DSP interaction.
• Analyze and fix time-critical firmware to maintain deterministic real-time performance.
• Test and debug C++/VHDL code on motion control hardware with test equipment.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software, Mechanical Engineering and other departments to solve technical challenges.
