Job summary

Aerotech Inc in Pittsburgh, PA, invites students for a paid co-op/internship in the Electrical Engineering R&D department. You will gain hands-on experience across board-level design, PCB layout, FPGA logic (VHDL), and embedded firmware in C/C++ on real hardware, mentored by senior engineers.

Work on prototype boards, use Altium Designer, write embedded C/C++, simulate FPGA code, test with real bench equipment, and document results in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum GPA 3.25 or above.
• Strong programming skills in C or C++ with hands-on lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Test, debug, and evaluate prototype boards and assemblies.
• Use Altium Designer to modify circuits or design sub-circuits.
• Develop embedded C/C++ code for real-time microcontrollers or DSPs.
