Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC. in Gaithersburg, MD, seeks a Firmware Engineer I to join our engineering team. You will design and develop embedded firmware in C/C++ and Python tools for testing and validation of our laboratory instruments.

This role operates in a regulated environment with exposure to ISO/cGMP standards and involves collaboration with hardware and software teams to deliver robust biodefense and life sciences solutions.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
MS in engineering preferred.
Experience in embedded firmware development.

Responsibilities

Develop firmware in embedded C++ for ARM Microchip/Atmel processors.
Implement sensors control: motion, temperature, fluidics, ECL, USB and network interfaces.
Develop Python tests and GUI tools for PCB tests and instrument validation.
Document IP and support test, debug, and failure analysis.
Assist process improvement and regulatory documentation in ISO/cGMP setting.
