The role involves following the firmware development process, implementing real-time sensor and actuator control, USB, SPI/I2C interfaces, and Python GUI test utilities on Windows and Linux SBCs to support instrument testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE or related field; MS preferred.
• Minimum four years in embedded firmware design and development.
• Proficiency with C++ and Python.
• Experience in ISO or cGMP environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C++ for ARM microcontrollers.
• Create Python test and alignment routines for Windows/Linux SBCs.
• Support verification, debugging and failure analysis using test equipment.
• Assist process improvement and document IP as needed.
