Arrow Electronics in Bloomington, MN is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to help customers select and design electronic components from our broad line card. You will be a trusted advisor, providing technical guidance to ensure customer and supplier success.

The role covers collaboration with the sales team, pre- and post-sales support, understanding customer design needs at system and component levels, delivering presentations, and driving design-win opportunities through solution-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of electronic design experience with a bachelor's degree; or 2+ years with advanced degree.
• Analog and embedded design experience.
• Experience in C-programming and/or Embedded Linux is a plus.
• Experience designing with FPGAs (HDL, Simulation, Verification).

Responsibilities

• Drive demand creation by maximizing Arrow content on designs and understanding customer needs.
• Partner with the sales team across pre- and post-sales activities and provide technical support.
• Understand design requirements at system and component levels and prepare sales presentations.
• Manage opportunities and funnel for assigned suppliers and train the local sales team on new products.
• Build relationships with customers and suppliers and participate in strategic meetings and technical plans.
