Lutron Electronics has multiple openings for an Embedded Engineer across Boston, Austin and Coopersburg. You will work in a cross-functional team to develop embedded systems from concept to production, spanning firmware, embedded Linux, connected devices, and cloud services.

The role emphasizes translating customer needs into robust embedded solutions while collaborating with electrical, mechanical, software, and test engineering teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum GPA 3.00 across completed degrees.
• 4 years software development with a Bachelor's or 2 years with a Master's in embedded domains.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical design and architectural decisions for embedded products.
• Translate customer and system constraints into scalable embedded solutions.
• Support new product development from concept through production.
• Drive cross-team technical alignment across firmware, embedded Linux, cloud services and client applications.
• Implement, unit-test and integrate solutions with multiple developers.
• Participate in design reviews and identify risks and improvement opportunities.
• Resolve firmware/hardware interaction issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, mechanical, manufacturing and test teams.
