Job summary

Lutron Electronics has multiple openings for an Application Software Engineer across Boston, Philadelphia, Austin, and Cincinnati. You will design and deliver software for lighting, shading, and smart home systems, collaborating with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to create reliable, scalable solutions.

You'll work through design, development, testing, deployment, and support, ensuring high-quality software that meets customer needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
Minimum software development experience: 4+ years with a Bachelor's or 2+ years with a Master's.
Experience with modern programming languages and tools; is comfortable with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications and features.
Translate requirements into effective software solutions.
Participate in software architecture, design, and testing activities.
Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.
