Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking Electrical Engineers for Costa Mesa, CA. Design electronics from concept to prototype, select hardware, design PCBs, and ensure system integration. You will troubleshoot across electrical and software boundaries and develop firmware for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.

The role requires a degree in EE/CE, 0–2 years of relevant work, and proficiency with C/C++, Python, and Altium Designer. U.S. person required due to export controls.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of technical work, including internships, with ability to start full time in 2026.
• Familiarity with test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers) and automation of tests.
• Familiarity with software development processes and tools (Git, Jira, etc.).
• Familiarity with interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB) and embedded Linux development.
• Strong organization and communication skills; U.S. Person requirement due to access to controlled information.
• Experience with Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and common languages (Python, Rust, Haskell).

Responsibilities

• Design electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, PCB design, and system integration.
• Troubleshoot across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
• Develop low-level firmware/software for microcontrollers and embedded Linux systems.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers to deliver products.
• Contribute to fast-paced development, deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
• Manage involvement in multiple projects at different stages.
