Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory seeks a Software Developer to build high-performance software for electronic warfare systems. You will develop C/C++ code for desktop and embedded platforms, implement DSP algorithms, and validate your work through field tests and lab demos.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including engineers and FPGA/embedded software specialists to ensure seamless integration within a collaborative software framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline.
• At least three years of relevant software development experience.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git.
• Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance by start date; US citizenship required.
• Preferred: Master's degree, embedded software, Linux, Python/MATLAB, FPGA languages, SDR, containers, Kubernetes; active DoD clearance a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs in C/C++, for both desktop and embedded applications.
• Implement DSP algorithms for various signals used in EW systems.
• Validate, test, and demonstrate work in field tests and lab demos.
