Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) in Laurel, MD, is seeking a Software Developer to build high-performance, reliable software for advanced electronic warfare systems.

You will contribute to a collaborative software framework spanning desktop and embedded applications, and work with a team of systems engineers, FPGA and embedded software engineers, and DSP specialists to turn concepts into prototypes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, CS, Software Engineering, or another related technical discipline.
  • At least three years of relevant software development experience.
  • Experience with source control tools (Git).
  • Experience with C/C++ programming languages.
  • Must be able to obtain Interim Secret clearance by start date and ultimately Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop programs in C/C++, for desktop and embedded applications.
  • Implement DSP algorithms for communications, data link, radar, and jamming signals.
  • Validate, test, and demonstrate work in field tests and lab demos.
