Job summary

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory seeks a creative Signal Processing Engineer to help develop innovative EW tech for next-gen systems. You will work with a team of engineers across FPGA, software, and algorithms in a challenging RF environment.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in engineering/physics/math with a signal processing focus and 7+ years of related experience, plus MATLAB or Python proficiency and eligibility for interim clearance leading to TS/SCI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or mathematics with a concentration in signal processing.
• At least seven years of signal processing design/analysis experience.
• Strong MATLAB or Python programming experience.
• Eligible for Interim Secret clearance with potential TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel concepts to defeat adversarial radar and communication systems.
• Study current and future radar systems and evaluate their performance.
• End-to-end modeling and performance evaluation of new systems being designed.
• Prototype new concepts.
• Brief sponsors and internal APL staff.
