Job summary

Tari Labs, LLC. seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our team, working directly with customer organizations on-site to deliver digital engineering solutions using CAD, CFD, and FEM alongside modern software development practices.

You will collaborate with our Istari team to align projects with strategic objectives, develop training materials, and contribute to ongoing innovation. Expect global travel up to 50% and opportunities to influence aerospace and defense initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering, computer science or mechanical/electrical engineering with strong coding abilities.
Hands-on experience with CAD, CFD, FEM or similar tools.
Experience applying software development best practices, including coding, testing, Kubernetes and version control.
Customer-facing experience or technical consulting is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to assess, design, and implement digital engineering solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain software that integrates with digital engineering workflows.
Collaborate with the Istari team and support proposals and solutions for new opportunities.
Stay updated on trends in digital engineering and software development.
Up to 50% travel to customer sites, including international accounts in Australia.
