Job summary
Blue River Technology seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain embedded software and systems for computer vision-enabled robotics. You will work on a high-density compute platform, enhancing camera interfaces and real-time performance in a Linux/Yocto environment.
You will build driver and regression tests, participate in design reviews, and help ensure robust, low-latency software for autonomous agricultural equipment. Visa sponsorship is available; Santa Clara, CA location.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or related field required.
- 1-3 years' embedded software development experience.
- Experience with cameras/sensors and interfaces (MIPI CSI-2).
- Strong testing/CI practices and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with real-time programming and Linux environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop, debug, and maintain embedded software and kernels in C/C++ and Rust.
- Improve camera/sensor capabilities and image quality; support data collection.
- Ensure Yocto OS support for sensors is implemented.
- Create automated driver and camera tests in CI on HIL platforms.
- Lead design/code reviews; troubleshoot driver issues with cross-functional teams.
