Job summary

Brooks Automation seeks a Camera Vision Software Engineer to develop computer vision solutions for semiconductor equipment. You will implement CNNs and traditional CV methods, optimize models, and integrate vision into robotic and motion-control systems.

Responsibilities include data annotation, model testing, REST API development, and collaboration with ME/EE/SW teams. Embedded hardware, Linux/Windows, and Docker/Kubernetes exposure are valued traits.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in Computer Science or equivalent and 4 years of software experience in CV/intelligent systems.
• 4 years of experience in professional software development with C# and/or C++.
• Experience in machine vision, image processing, and OpenCV workflows.
• Familiarity with UML, multi-threading, and network programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computer vision algorithms for defect detection, recognition, and tracking.
• Write production-quality code in C# and C++ and integrate with embedded hardware.
• Collaborate with ME/EE/SW teams on system-level integration and testing.
