Job summary

Revel IT seeks a Computer Engineer for a full-time role at a client facility in Chantilly, VA. You will gather, organize, and analyze technical information to drive fast-turn tasks in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities include ML/data engineering techniques, C/C++ embedded development, exploration of Go or Rust, RTOS and embedded systems, and reverse engineering. Team collaboration and independent work to deliver timely, budget-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with 3+ years experience, or master's with 1+ year, or Ph.D.; or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded software development in C/C++.
• Experience or desire to code in Go or Rust.
• Experience in national security, defense, and/or intelligence communities.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Aid in design and implementation of machine learning and data engineering techniques for client missions in S&T fields.
• C/C++ development that supports critical customer missions.
• Apply concepts from Go or Rust to embedded development.
• Develop for real time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systems.
• Learn reverse engineering principles for analysis of compiled operating systems.
• Collaborate in a multi-disciplinary environment while leading tasks on time and on budget.
• Propose, develop, and execute creative solutions to unique problems.
• Provide thorough products with minor revisions and/or editing.
• Proactively manage expectations and deadlines in a fast-moving, agile environment.
• Maintain excellent communication with co-located and geographically diverse team members.
