Job summary

Revel IT seeks a Computer Engineer for a full-time role at a client facility in Chantilly, VA. You will gather, organize, and analyze technical information to drive fast-turn tasks in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Responsibilities include ML/data engineering techniques, C/C++ embedded development, exploration of Go or Rust, RTOS and embedded systems, and reverse engineering. Team collaboration and independent work to deliver timely, budget-conscious solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with 3+ years experience, or master's with 1+ year, or Ph.D.; or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded software development in C/C++.
• Experience or desire to code in Go or Rust.
• Experience in national security, defense, and/or intelligence communities.
• Must be a US Citizen with an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Currently seeking candidates for a full-time position as a Computer Engineer. This position will provide support at a client facility in the Chantilly, VA area. The role involves collecting, organizing, and analyzing technical information from multiple sources to drive client missions and quick‑turn tasks in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the design and implementation of machine learning and data engineering techniques for application to advanced client missions in science and technology (S&T) fields.
• C/C++ development that supports critical customer missions
• Applying concepts from newer compiled languages such as Go, or Rust to embedded development.
• Developing for real time operating systems (RTOS) and interesting embedded systems.
• Applying understanding of software development to the analysis of compiled custom operating systems by learning reverse engineering principles.
• Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary environment while working independently and leading tasks on time and on budget.
• Independently propose, develop, and execute creative solutions to unique problems
• Providing thorough and completed products that require minor revisions and/or editing.
• Proactively managing expectations and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving, agile environment.
• Maintaining excellent communication and interaction with both co-located and geographically diverse team members

Key Qualifications
