Job summary

Revel IT in the Chantilly, VA area is seeking a Senior Computer Engineer for a full-time role to provide support at a client facility. The position involves designing and implementing machine learning and data engineering techniques for advanced client missions in science and technology fields.

Responsibilities include C/C++ development for critical missions, RTOS/embedded systems work, and collaboration across a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Must hold US Citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.
Strong embedded software experience in C/C++ with real-time systems.
Experience or interest in Go or Rust for embedded development.

Responsibilities

Collecting, organizing, and analyzing technical information to drive client missions and quick-turn tasks.
C/C++ development that supports critical customer missions.
Applying concepts from Go or Rust to embedded development.
Developing for RTOS and embedded systems.
Learning reverse engineering principles to analyze compiled operating systems.
Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary environment and leading tasks on time and budget.
Proposing, developing, and executing creative solutions to unique problems.
Providing thorough and completed products requiring minor revisions.
Managing expectations and deadlines in an agile environment.
Maintaining communication with co-located and geographically diverse teams.
