Job summary

Revel IT seeks a Senior Computer Engineer for a full-time role at a client facility in Chantilly, VA. You will contribute to design and implementation of machine learning and data engineering techniques for advanced S&T missions.

Responsibilities include C/C++ development for critical missions, applying Go/Rust concepts to embedded systems, and RTOS work. A US citizen with TS/SCI clearance is required. Revel IT promotes diversity and equal opportunity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, CE, EE or related field with 15+ years of experience, or master's with 10+ years, or Ph.D. with 8+ years, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze technical information from multiple sources to drive client missions and quick-turn tasks in fast-paced environments.
• C/C++ development that supports critical customer missions.
• Applying Go or Rust concepts to embedded development.
• Developing for RTOS and embedded systems.
• Applying understanding of software development to reverse engineering of compiled OS.
• Collaborating in a multi-disciplinary environment while leading tasks on time and on budget.
• Independently propose, develop, and execute creative solutions to unique problems.
• Providing thorough and completed products that require minor revisions and/or editing.
• Proactively managing expectations and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving, agile environment.
• Maintaining excellent communication with co-located and geographically diverse team members
